Umar Saleem

Umar started Aikido in early 2012 and has been practising under the instruction of Sensei David Yates. He achieved his San Dan at the 2024 BAF Summer school and also has a coaching level 2 qualification., supporting instructors across the adult and junior classes.
He has over a decade of previous martial experience in both Shotokan style Karate and Jeet Kun Do.
