Wait first started practicing Aikido in 2008 at Komyokan Dojo in Birkenhead, Merseyside. He has practiced at various clubs and organisations around the UK before joining Wa Go Kan Dojo under David Yates Sensei in 2013.
Wai practices regularly and achieved his current grade of Nidan at Summer School 2024.
Wai is a certified coach level 2.
